Why use an eSIM in San Marino?
San Marino is a microstate entirely surrounded by Italy, perched on Monte Titano above the Adriatic plain, and virtually everyone arrives by road from Rimini after flying into an Italian airport. Most visits are a day or an overnight: the three towers, the ramparts, the cable car up from Borgo Maggiore and the museums, with the descent back to the coast in the evening. It is a walking day of timed tickets and bus schedules, and phones here have a habit of hopping between Sammarinese and Italian networks as you move around the mountain. Having a data plan already installed keeps that from becoming a problem.
