Affiliate program terms

1Overview

You promote eSIMify travel eSIMs to your audience using your unique short link (esimify.in/r/<your-slug>) or the matching coupon code. We pay you a commission on every qualifying paid order attributed to you. These terms set out how attribution, commission, and payouts work, and what conduct will get an account suspended.

This is a plain-language summary of the agreement that governs the eSIMify Affiliate Program. By enrolling, you accept these terms as a binding contract between you and eSIMify.

2Eligibility

To join and remain in good standing you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • Provide accurate account, payout, and tax details, and keep them current.
  • Promote only through channels you own or are authorised to operate.
  • Comply with applicable advertising, consumer, and data-protection laws in your market.

We may decline or revoke enrolment at our discretion, including where a channel conflicts with the brand or breaches these terms.

3Commission

You earn a commission on the value of each qualifying order placed by a customer you refer.

  • Default rate: 8% of net order value (ex-GST), paid in INR (₹).
  • Commission is calculated on the order total at checkout, after any discounts and before tax.
  • Wallet-only top-ups and orders fully covered by store credit earn no commission.
  • Rates may be adjusted per affiliate by written agreement; any change applies only to future orders.

Example: a ₹2,599 order earns ₹207.92 in commission at the default 8% rate.

4Attribution

We credit orders to a single affiliate using the rules below, in order of precedence:

  • Last paid click wins. Where several affiliates referred the same customer, the most recent qualifying click is credited.
  • 30-day cookie window. A click is eligible for attribution for up to 30 days.
  • Coupon code overrides the cookie. A coupon code typed at checkout always credits the matching affiliate, even if a different affiliate’s cookie is present.
  • Self-purchases are excluded. Orders placed on your own account, email, or phone number are not credited.

5Refund clawback

Commission accrues as PENDING. After the 14-day refund window it flips to CLEARED and becomes payable. If an order is refunded within the window, the related commission is reversed. PAID commission may be invoiced back if the refund happens after payout.

6Payouts & tax

Commission becomes payable once it has cleared the refund window, then pays out on a fixed cadence.

  • Cadence: payouts run bi-weekly.
  • Method: paid via UPI / IMPS to your verified payout account.
  • Clearing: commission clears 14 days after the order, once the refund window has closed, flipping from PENDING to CLEARED. Refunds inside the window reverse the related commission.
  • Minimum threshold: your cleared balance must reach the ₹1,000 minimum before a payout is released; smaller balances roll forward.
  • TDS (India): tax deducted at source under §194H is withheld automatically on payouts to India-based affiliates and remitted on your behalf.

Provide a valid PAN to avoid the higher withholding rate that applies when PAN is missing.

7Prohibited conduct

The following will result in withheld commission and may lead to termination:

  • Paid brand-bidding — bidding on “eSIMify” or close variants in paid search.
  • Spam — unsolicited email, SMS, or messaging, and any synthetic or incentivised traffic.
  • Self-referrals — crediting your own purchases or those of related parties.
  • Misleading claims — fake giveaways, false discounts, or claims about plans we don’t sell.

8Suspension & termination

We may suspend an account, pause payouts, or terminate participation where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, fraud, or activity that harms customers or the brand. Either party may end the relationship at any time.

On termination, commission already CLEARED remains payable. Commission that is PENDING or tied to suspected abuse may be withheld pending review.

9Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 14 days’ notice before they take effect. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
